  1. Title: Sparknotes: The House of Seven Gables
    Type: Study guide
Description and evaluation of source: Sparknotes provides an overview of the book and much more information. Among the topics covered are: a list of characters and description of the characters; analysis of the major characters; themes, motifs and symbols; a summary of the individual chapters; important quotes; key facts; and study questions. This source seems like it will be very helpful in guiding reading and answering questions.

This website was a very good resource I thought because it has summaries and analysis of every chapter, character analysis, practice essays, and study guide questions.

This website has some good stuff on it. It provides a plot summary for each chapter as well an analysis of characters, themes, writing style and a lot more. It has helped give me a much larger understanding of the novel from what I have looked at. You should for sure check it out if you are reading this book!
